Introduction

Salvato Advisory LLC runs this website. This page explains what information the site collects and what we do with it.

For how we protect the financial information clients share with us, see How We Protect Your Financial Information.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, business name, message, and any phone number or accounting software choices you include. We also record when the message arrived, the page it came from, and any link tag in the address. This site does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising tools.

How we use it

We use this information to reply and decide whether our services may be a fit. If you become a client, we use it to begin the work you agree to. We do not sell your contact details or use them for advertising.

Who else can see it

Your message is saved in Microsoft 365 and copied into our records for people who contact us. It may also appear in notices to our team by email and Teams. Microsoft and Azure process it for our website and business systems. The business name may be used with web search and Anthropic’s AI to prepare a short note for our team.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries in our lead and prospect records while we need them to follow up and manage our business. You can ask what we hold or request deletion by emailing us.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct what you sent us. You can also request deletion by emailing us.

How We Protect Your Financial Information

Last updated: October 2026

When you work with us, you trust us with your books, your tax returns and your bank information. Here is how we look after them.

A written security plan

We have a written plan for protecting client information. We review it as our work and tools change.

We only ask for what the work needs

We collect the information an engagement requires and nothing more.

Sharing client documents

Client documents are shared through restricted folders. Please do not send tax documents, passwords, or account numbers through this website’s contact form.

Who can access your information

We limit access to client information to people who need it for the work. Our team uses account security controls and protected business systems.

Where your information lives

Depending on the work, client information may be held in Microsoft 365, QuickBooks Online, tax software, Azure, Railway, Ping (meeting recordings), Anchor (billing), and the AI tools used for the engagement.

Your tax information is used for your work only

Federal law strictly limits how tax preparers may use and share tax return information, and we follow it. We use your information only to do the work you hired us for. We share it only with you, with tax authorities when we file for you, and with the service providers above that we use to do the work. We never sell it.

How we use AI

We use AI tools, including Claude by Anthropic, to help analyze information and prepare internal work. People review the work before it goes to you, into your books, or to a tax authority. The tools and permissions depend on your engagement.

How long we keep it

We keep client records for seven years after an engagement ends, then delete them.

If something goes wrong

We have a written process for responding to a security incident. We will contact people as required if their information is affected.
